A couple weekends ago Sarah let us come over on the most beautiful day to see her bunnies!! They are the cutest things I have ever seen. I want one so bad..but, I don't know where I would keep it. And Chris doesn't want animals in the house so, I guess I'm out of luck right now. haha I loved holding them and it was so cute that they would all cuddle up next to you. Her rabbit had 9 babies! She said that, that's a lot for her kind of rabbit to have! They are so precious!

Orthodontist--Good/Painful

That's right! Chris got braces! We decided that now is the perfect time to do it! So, we went ahead and made the appointment!

Disneyland Trip!

Can I say how much I love Disneyland!! It is the happiest place, funnest place ever! To start off our trip my mom  took us to the airport so we wouldn't have to leave our car there. While we were driving my mom was telling us how she always misses the airport exit. We just laughed and made sure she didn't miss the first airport exit off of I-15. Well, low and behold she misses the next exit off of the 215...haha I couldn't believe it! That is going into the books mother!


So we get to LAX and get to fly over the ocean for a bit before landing which was really cool to see the coastline. We get on our shuttle that is waiting for us and we drive in L.A rush hour to what we thought was our hotel. We learned really fast that it was not the correct hotel. The guy at the counter said it was 2 miles north of the hotel we were at. So, Chris and I thought, we can walk it wont be that bad. Well, After walk and walking and walking some more and crossing freeways etc...We were beginning to think we were lost. So, we call home to Chris' parents to see if they can tell where we are. They told us we were really close so we kept walking. We finally get to our hotel 1 1/2 hours later and after walking 4 miles. Man we were tired and hungry. But, we made it!

Cupcakes!

So I decided last night that I wanted to make cupcakes! So, I did. They turned out great! I needed to use the rest of my homemade icing and that's what I came up with. I got out my Wilton piping equipment and a little food dye...haha and tried it and it worked out awesome! I love decorating!!  Here are my results:

Cakes and More...

So just recently I've decided I wanted to start a new hobby. I got thinking and I love to bake and make food So, why not experiment and try decorating cakes! Great Idea! I went to the library and got a few books on how to decorate cakes! This got me all excited to learn that a lot goes in a cake. I had no clue how difficult you can make a cake. Well, I was determined to make a heart shaped cake for valentines coming up. So, I got all my ingredients and started baking. I took the cake out of the oven and I left it to cool in the pan for a bit. but, my instructions said to take out of pan to cool on a rack so I did so. As I was taking the cake out it cracked in half..I was so mad. The first thing I had to do was ruined. But, it actually looked okay put back together and the frosting wouldn't show it and I was going to attempt fondant!

Then came the hard part...Kneading of the fondant to dye it pink! It took a lot of work but, I finally got it the color I wanted it!Fondant color:

I'm really not very creative when it comes to thinking of ideas of what to make the cake look like. If I have an example I can usually just copy it but this time I had to come up with something. Here is the final cake!

I think that it turned out pretty good for being my first cake! I will post about my next cake that I have in mind!!

Disneyland!

We just bought our tickets for our Disneyland trip in February!!! We are so excited!!Chris has never been to Disneyland so this will be really fun. I went 2 years ago and actually tried the roller coasters. I have always been afraid of roller coasters but I was brave and got on them. I don't know what I was so scared about. They are fantastic!!

Tis The Season!

Well! It's that time of year again!When you get to eat all the yummy goodies and have celebrations and parties with people you love! I love this time of year...Especially when I think back a year ago Chris and I held hands for the first time!! Wow, it seems just like yesterday we were doing the whole dating thing. We were at temple square and I really wanted to hold his hand so, I would walk really close to him and bump into him with my hand to kind of give him a hint. Well, it worked! We held hands for the first time. It was amazing. Now a year later and we have been married almost 7 months now. Oh how time flies when you are having fun. I love this time of year when I get to spend my time with family and friends and celebrate the true meaning of Christmas. I'm so thankful for the birth of Jesus Christ and I love that we can reflect upon Him especially this season.   

I'm excited to make new years resolutions! I'm so excited to have Chris help me be motivated to do them. He is such a great support to me. And I will help him in all of his!
